GOOGLE has pledged to make more than 120 new games available on its fledgling Stadia app. Stadia is the Xbox and PlayStation “killer” that lets you play games with no console – by streaming the visuals over the internet, like Netflix.

Stadia processes game visuals at big data centres, so you can play games with high-end graphics on almost any device – including smartphones, or web browsers on a laptop.

One of the biggest complaints about Stadia so far is the lack of games available on the platform.

But in a blog post, Google has vowed to release scores of titles on Stadia through 2020.

Update: November 17, 2020: We have updated the Google Stadia games list with a number of new titles, including Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. Also, the Immortals Fenyx Rising free demo has returned until December 21. Google’s cloud gaming platform Stadia caught fairly heavy criticism when it launched in November 2019, but frequent updates and announcements have helped it recover from a fairly bumpy rollout.
